Thanking Allah Almighty

Today I got three of my thesis books THANKS TO ALLAH ALMIGHTY ALLAHHUAKBAR, SUBHAHANALLAH, ALHAMDULILLAH, MASHALLAH.

They are:
"The Stand" by Stephen King
" The Road" by Cormac McCarthy &
" Blindness" by Jose Saramago

I got the vintage edition of "Blindness" which featured the characters in the movie it seemed that both Julian Moore and Danny Glover and another well known actor whose name I forgot all starred in it. Oh, its Mark Ruffalo found it out from Wikipedia as I am also correcting the spellings of the authors' names of novels "The Road" and "Blindness" Guess what I wrote before = Carthy MacCormack LOL

Well I started "The Stand" its over 1000 pages. Now, I gotta read and write notes 'cause it's obvious I won't remember. Gonna use the copy my bro sent me from Australia I think to do that ^_^

Bro Leaving For The Outback tomorrow

As nature would have it, it is essentially there in many places of the animal kingdom that a child, be it cub or fawn, goes off to create the tracks of one's own life. The human sphere, however, is one species where one is never isolated from the herd despite the isolation of presence.

Well, this is hard to explain to the loving Mom and Dad who are obviously upset that my bro is leaving tomorrow (27th March). Obviously I am upset too but truthfully a tad bit more envious. Australia is not a visited landscape. I can only taste it through photographs or National Geographic. It is a lush place and a continent of newness that Dhaka, the capital that I live in, has very much lost in exchange for massive, pathological urbanization.

I do not feel that saddened as I am proud of my brother's accomplishment of being able to live abroad to pursue an education. I am happy too as he will be with his wife who, though they have been only married last year, had to leave within a short span as she is the student of the University of Sydney. In fact, for around 9 months my bro and she had been separated until, with the great hearts given to my Father and Mother by Allah Almighty, were reunited on November to my awestruck brother's befuddlement (it was a surprise in which he clutched his chest, his young heart taking in the enormity of it).

He will be leaving tomorrow to a new chapter.

I will miss him dearly, due to the very fact that is non-negotiable. He is my brother and I love him unconditionally. I had great times with him and for him also some bad times with him and for him. I will obviously miss the part where my computer breaks down and I pull him out from his room, a ritual of shouting and screaming, until he decides he will fix it. I will also miss the part where I would enforce him to hand me some DVDs that I could watch them in my leisure. I know that these times will come back INSHALLAH when he returns but as Dad with his scholar's wisdom has spoken truthfully: some things are not going to be the same, but, hopefully, they will not differ beyond our comprehension. I know they will not be entirely the same but each phase of life is not meant to be the same thus I accept it as realistically as anyone would.

I pray to Allah Almighty that my brother receives the best of the offers that life can give and happiness unwavering.

Well set for a new chapter in life GOOD LUCK BROTHER! I LOVE YOU!

Achievement

I wrote 26 poems today. WOW. Allah Almighty Thank-You. ALHAMDULILLAH, SUBHAHANALLAH, ALLAHHUAKBAR, MASHALLAH.

Baby Survived The Night

ALLAHHUAKBAR, SUBHANALLAH, MASHALLAH, ALHAMDULILLAH - Butch has survived the night and has gotten better today. He is walking about. Praises to be My FORGER for helping him. However, he needs time to recover because water is in his lungs. I hope medication helps. Love my Butchuu (nickname) so much. He has been my comrade for 11 years.

I got to know there was water in his lungs because he was breathing heavily even in deep sleep. So, I asked my mom why this was happening. We snuck nearer and observed. Then we called the doctor. He said that medication was needed and that he had water in his lungs - my father suspected yesterday that he had a brain stroke.

I hope Allah Almighty protects him and helps him.

Baby suffered a Stroke

My Butch, my dog, who has grown up with me for eleven years, has suffered a stroke. At first I thought he was only ill but then we called the vet and found out what was the real reason for him looking sick.

My mom has administered the life saving drugs via injections (it's late, Mom has experience so the Doctor didn't come by). However, the doctor said he needs to pass the night. He's breathing heavy. He's sleeping.

Allah Almighty...please...help him...

I opened a website

I opened a website on Revolutionary Girl Utena on webs.com (formerly known as freewebs.com - I had a website there in 2003 but deleted it but then they made it US/Canada only so I couldn't use it. Now they launched it for the world again. THANK ALLAH ALMIGHTY)

It's called:

LOVE THE TEMPLATE!!!! MASHALLAH!!!! It goes with my topic! Might open another site.

THANK ALLAH ALMIGHTY MY BRO GRADUATED!

Well, it was the 2nd of March, 2010 - My bro got his convocation. The ceremony was around ten-ish and the rehearsal happened the day before. My parents took loads of pictures and they all had a GREAT TIME! I THANK ALLAH ALMIGHTY - ALLAHHUAKBAR, SUBHAHANALLAH, MASHALLAH, ALHAMDULILLAH - that my brother graduated. I couldn't attend the ceremony (or the dinner invite) because I had two midterms today. Though I'm glad the ceremony went well. I hugged and kissed my brother as I came home, well, I yelled out before I did that seeing his graduation certificate. It's nice to see my brother go ahead in life - MAY ALLAH ALMIGHTY BESTOW HIM SPIRITUAL AND EARTHLY SUCCESS AND ELATION!!!!

I couldn't go to the dinner because only parents and spouse are allowed (Bhabi left on Sunday). However, I was TIRED in the strictest sense of the word. I felt my entire right arm would fall off for the excess writing (though I discovered a great pen for writing exams in - my first answer for my Modernism Midterm, which was the second midterm I had, was six pages though the second answer was only two - this usually happens to me *sweat drop*) I fell sick on the morning but went to give my Sociology midterm and I guess it went ok. My twelve-thirty afternoon class was cancelled but it was tiresome to be out of the house at eight and coming home at 6:21.

They Left To Go Back To Other Things :(

My Bhabi (my Brother's wife) left today (infact INSHALLAH she'll be back in Sydney at 3 pm tomorrow, she's already in the plane). She stayed here for two months. She studies abroad so she had to leave. We all were extremely sad especially my brother, in the sense, that, she's his wife. We all cried. Even Dad. I was happy Bhabi came and we had fun. Her semester started today but she was here in BD so she has to start classes from the 2nd. My Brother will INSHALLAH go soon to Sydney as well because he had planned to study there beforehand anyways. Also, of course, he wants to be reunited with his wife.

It was fun that Bhabi coming here last Christmas Eve was a surprise. I can still remember my bro clutching his chest, in disbelief at the gift of reuniting with his love. Then telling her to come closer so he could kiss her. Hold her close. It does brings tears to my eyes. He did cry also. After all, for those of you who have the experience, it's hard being separated from your spouse. Well INSHALLAH they'll get together soon in Sydney.

I was really tired today after not being able to sleep well last night. So I fell asleep. Before Bhabi left she got up on my bed and hugged me (well they didn't wake me up up until she was going, they ate icecream I think and got me some too ^_^). I held Bhabi. Then we let go. I held her again. Then she cried. I cried too. Then we went to their room as she was gathering her stuff. As she got out I cried. We hugged again. We cried. We hugged a couple of times more 'cause I didn't wanna let her go. Well then she left. I called her at the airport. Told her my best wishes and stuff I wanted. I miss her now. I feel like crying.

Well, earlier in the afternoon, my fifteen year old Uncle, Tanvir and my Grandmom left too. I heard Tanvir cried a lot. I saw him off last night 'cause I had to go to university early today. We hugged a couple of times too. He came for like two weeks for some stuff with his mom. I saw my Grandmom off today in the morning as she woke up. I called them after my midterm today like at 2:15pm before I could have lunch with a friend. I told them goodbyes, stuff I wanted, to keep in touch - to be connected. I think Tanvir was very sad as he really didn't know what to say on the phone. He may have not like the ambiance of Dhaka, honestly, I as an inhabitant hate it as well. But he loved us. I will miss them now and PRAY TO ALLAH ALMIGHTY INSHALLAH I Get to see them again soon.

It's gonna snow as Tanvir gets home - it rarely snows in Georgia, it's his Dad's birthday too. Bhabi said Sydney will be cold.

We all go to do other things but our families are with us no matter what ^_^
